Surge & Spike Koruma

There are 3 main reasons for excessive and sudden voltage spikes ;

• Atmospheric Natural Phenomena such as Lightning 
• Switching Fluctuations Caused by Industrial Loads
• Electrostatic Discharges (ESD)

The innovative LED lighting solutions in the LAVIN Outdoor Lighting portfolio provide high protection as well as meeting customer or project needs. 

We have optionally added Surge Protector to our products to ensure the protection of current drivers and LEDs from Low or High value Surge voltages (Sudden and Pulsed Rise) caused by natural events such as lightning, lightning, etc. from the mains or lightning.

SPD, directs or absorbs the overvoltage energy by minimizing the overvoltage threats that may come from the network to the LED Luminaire.

For our products, 3-element Surge Protector elements that can protect between L-N, L-G and N-G lines are preferred.

Surge protector systems with protection values in the range of 10kV/20 kV and 5kA/10kA are preferred according to the power values of the products produced, application areas-shapes and related standards IEC 61643, ANSI & IEEE C62.41 recommendations.

The SPDs we use contain electronically fused, thermally protected Varistor technology and gas discharge tubes.
The LED indicator (End of life indication) shows when to replace the SPD.
